1ď¸âŁ Qualification Requirements:
Applicants must hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) qualification or an equivalent.
If you donât currently have an ACECQA-approved qualification, ACECQA will conduct a âdual assessmentâ of your credentials based on the National Quality Framework (NQF). Additional evidence might be required.
2ď¸âŁ English Language Proficiency Requirements: You can meet the English language requirement in one of the following ways:
Completing at least one year of full-time higher education in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, the UK, or the USA.
Achieving IELTS scores of 7 in each band (tests must be taken within the past three years).
Scoring level 4 in ISLPRÂ for listening, speaking, reading, and writing (tests must be taken within the past three years).
3ď¸âŁ Additional Considerations:
ACECQA may also consider professional references from employers in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, the UK, or the USA as supplementary evidence of English language proficiency.
